Fasting nonsense articles

 Wow.

It s unbelievable what passes for science these days. I just read an article saying that extended water fasting was bad for you.

Here's the crux of the article:

________

Participants lost an average of 7.7 percent of their body weight,

They experienced side effects like headaches, insomnia, and low blood pressure.

Fasting seemed to increase inflammation and put more stress on the body, and this can lead to lots of complications with health,  especially with those with existing heart or vascular conditions

_____

Well yeah. That's what happens to me every time I fast. It isn't easy. After 40 or so fasts, it has gotten easier. The one thing these short sighted, so called, scientists,  didn't mention, is the long term benefits. And that's where there is a lot of science. The benefits are awesome.

So let me say it in a different, dumb way. Don't exercise because it puts strain on your heart and could lead to complications such as muscle spasms, fatigue, while working out, damage to ligaments. So it's best, if you think about it, to just sit all day and slowly develop diabetes, weigh 400 lbs and be unable to move at all. But you won't develop possible headaches while working out.

I'm kidding of course. Working out may be stressful but in the long run, it's healthy.

I haven't had cysts under my eyes for 4 months now. Am I cured of wet macular degeneration? I don't know. What I do know is that i had 42 monthly shots in my left eye, administered by doctors, and I still grew cysts under my retina, and they we're getting progressively worse. When I began extended fasts, after reading about the benefits of a real medical clinical trial on wet macular degeneration, using 225 adults with 161in the control group,  my cysts slowly disappeared. It was obvious that the culprit is the lack of autophagy, which diminishes in old age.

This is the link to that trial:

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7694766/

Autophagy initiates lysosome function, which eats damaged protein and damaged cells, which lysosomes convert to food. Lysosomes are what eats virus and bacteria when you're sick. Fasting stimulates autophagy.

Also my arthritis is gone. It slightly reoccurs every so often. Its minor though. Its mostly gone for weeks at a time and getting better.  I couldn't play my guitar for long, maybe a couple of songs. Now, I can play as long as I want with no pain.

My blood pressure is lower and more.

The ease of movement, which I had when I was younger. is back is back. My biologic age reduced by 6 or 7 years. That test was done by Truage on my DNA telemers for 100.00. Next time, I'll do Viome but it's 400.00, a bit expensive as I'm not a rich man, I do have a good retirement, though, but I don't spend money frivolously.

So that's it. Its difficult to make decisions when so much partial nonsense exists. Is this article accurate, yes. Is it misleading? Yes. In every way.
