Huge update

 I've been reading several books since last month. The Ketogenic Bible,  Dr Fung's book, David Sinclair's book and more.

I absorb these ideas on metabolic systems in the body. 

The most interesting is understanding the rebuild/repair system of the body. The main idea I've come to understand is that the human system needs to spend more time on the repair side of metabolism. The thing is, we eat without allowing the body to repair.  

The repair of Autophagy in all its types really can't function properly with just a few hours of rest from eating. We are built to repair our cells when we don't eat for a few days.

To measure the amount of repair taking place I use the GKI index. For that to work I use the blood tests for Ketones and Glucose using inexpensive blood monitors. Read the levels on my site: mywaterfasts.com. 

What I've learned is that it took me three days to reach down to 1.5 on the GKI index so that cysts are being repaired. That fixed my right eye, along with the shots I receive in both my eyes every month.

Then I started Keto and I now get there in two days. That's not an easy thing to do.

There are two types of damage that need repair. The first is damage from toxins and the like. The second is Glucose (carbohydrate) deposition in our brain and arteries.

 Carbohydrates aren't really the enemy, it's the amount of carbohydrates we eat. We dont give our metabolic system enough rest between eating Carbohydrates, so the Glucose it creates starts depositing in our arteries and in our brains causing diseases in our old age.

The other type of damage:

I really enjoy understanding how our genes protects us. Cells go bad, that's the easy explanation. We have genes, actually epigenes, that shut them down so they won't reproduce. 

Since our bodies expects us to break from eating, we can repair or remove these broken cells. Since we don't give our bodies the time without food to repair, these zombie cells accumulate and they are what causes old age and disease.

There are three ways to fix zombie cells and accumulation of plaques in our body. First there's fasting, the most powerful way, second there's the Keto diet, which raises the ketone level like fasting but not as powerfully as fasting. Third, there's chemistry.  I'm doing all three. The chemical side, the supplements, comes with studies done just in the last few years.

Currently,  I've been taking the following supplements.  

MNM, the most important. 

Fisetin.  Proven to kill zombie cells.

Resveratrol not sure how effective.

Spermidine.  Enhances autophagy.

Time will tell how effective they are. Still nothing replaces fasting. I eat nothing for 4 days. 

Strange to note. The medical industry is really unaware of these three. Dr Fung said he received 4 hours on metabolism when he finished his MD, as he became a nephrologist (kidney doctor).

The research side, though is well aware. If you have any doubt, ask any medical professional what autophagy is. You may be shocked how few have even heard of it. And the slowing of autophagy is what makes us old.

The upshot is: you can reverse your age.
