I'm disappointed, well almost
Actually, at first, I was miffed at the ignorance of the clinical side of the medical industry. How could the FDA place a recommended list of addictive foods that are making us fat and sick over the long term. But then I realize that the atmosphere of the clinical side of the medical community is driven by the effects side of diseases and not the causal side. And that isn't their fault.
If a client comes in with high blood pressure, if you're a doctor, you'd best concentrate on which pill you prescribe rather than some long term fix like what you eat or something like autophagy. The Ketogenic diet may prove fat is the best thing to eat but that doesn't fix the problem like right now. A blood pressure pill fixes it now, even though it's fixing the effect and not the cause, it does keep the lawyers from suing.
Carbohydrates light up the very same area of the brain and have the very same effect as cocaine.
I once smoked opium by mistake. A friend of mine thought it was funny to lace the Marijuana joint with it. I hate smoking Marijuana but i was being nice. And I have tell you, it was the very best feeling I've ever had in my entire life, and by a huge margin. I felt like I was the King of the world.
If you want to destroy your life, smoke Opium. When I came off its effects, I was scared. The feeling was so tremendous that I could have stopped all my positive life endeavors and live the life of an addict. Yeah. The creature side of me would win and the real side of me would lose my life.
Carbohydrates are much like Opium, just to a lesser degree.
How long have we lived with fruit? Not long. We bred them into large carbohydrate bombs. Evolution is our eternal father's way of eventually making us perfect. You may be following primitive religions but that does not make the father's way of creation follow that same course of action. There are rules to metabolism and carbohydrates are a slow form of poison.
We have evolved from the pattern that our creator has laid down for us. And we are not able to handle glucose in large quantities. Fruits and sugars and pastas and starches are a poor food. These carbohydrates create insulin resistance and that insulin resistance is a form of pre diabetes. We're addicted to glucose creating foods. Instead, we should be eating fat.
The fat we eat doesn't dump into our bodies like water filling in a glass. We're more complex than that. Fat is processed in the liver into ketones and ketones are the superior energy for our mitochondria, not glucose that comes from carbohydrates. Glucose shuts off the outlet of a fat cell and opens the inlet so you get fatter.
It's no one's fault. I believe Ancel Keys was sincere when he pointed a gun at saturated fats. The American politicians had no idea they set us on a course of sickness and fatness by accepting his biased conclusions. His 7 country study was biased and misleading and caused the American monstrous daily recommended diet pyramid.
I read Dr Amnette Boswoth's book "Any Way You Can" and undertood why fat is the best food. The "The Ketogenic Bible" cemented my understanding of our metabolism. But it's also the understanding of why my eyes started forming cysts under my retina. It was the lack of autophagy that was causing the problem. The Finnish study showed me that.
When autophagy slows, toxicity from zombie cells starts inflammations then you have cysts . It's all based on too many carbohydrates. Yeah, you are addicted.
